Calcium carbonate is widely used in construction materials. Calima extends this use by offering an alternative sourced from a structured French supply chain.
Its fine and consistent particle size can be reliably incorporated into a wide range of technical mixes. Depending on project requirements, Calima can be tailored to meet specific formulation needs.
We work closely with construction and public works players to assess technical requirements and assess how Calima
can be integrated into their materials.

CSBT Environnement contributed to the Libarot project, an innovative program aimed at integrating shell co-products into road infrastructure.
Led by Eiffage Route and Builders Engineering School, the Libarot project was selected as a winner of the 2025 national “Innovation Routes et Rues” call for project.
It aims to test how materials from shell recovery can be integrated into road-building applications.
In this context, we supplied crushed scallop shells, which were used during on-site experimental phases.
This collaboration highlights our ability to work alongside major players in construction and engineering to explore new applications for shell co-products.
